This Saturday and Sunday: Art, Music, Markets, and Climate Fun
Mark your calendar—this weekend is packed with things to do around Waterloo Region.
**Saturday, Sept. 12**
CreekFest 2026 and the 6th Annual Homer Watson Gallery Art Fair both happen the same afternoon, both with free admission. It's a great day to get outside and explore local art and community vibes.
**Sunday, Sept. 13**
The KW Punk Rock Flea Market makes its 14th appearance at the Kitchener Market from noon to 5 p.m.—perfect for hunting treasures and finding unique finds.
Also on Sunday, Climate Fest takes over the Gaukel Block from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a scavenger hunt, DJ bike ride, climate walk, climate dance, kids' games, and food trucks. It's a fun way to learn and celebrate together.
Whatever draws you out, there's something for everyone this weekend.
“Get out there and enjoy what makes our community special.” — Uncle Sam
