Onkel Hans Food Drive Brings in Nearly 9,000 Pounds—37,000 Meals for the Region

The Onkel Hans Food Drive wrapped up with some heartwarming numbers. Waterloo Region came together and donated 8,915 pounds of food, plus $14,866.50 in cash gifts. Organizers are estimating that all those donations will translate to 37,162 meals for folks in our community who need them most. That's the kind of generosity that makes fall feel a little warmer. If you contributed—whether you dropped off a can, a box, or some spare change—you helped put real food on real tables.
