Labour Day Picnic Brought the Town Together
On September 7th, Waterloo Park filled with the sounds of music, laughter, and the smell of good food as the Ed Weidinger Memorial Labour Day Picnic brought folks together.
It was the kind of day that reminds you why small towns matter—families enjoying time in the park, music in the air, and tables of home-cooked food. The best part? Proceeds from food sales went straight to United Way Waterloo Region Communities, so every bite did a little good for neighbours in need.
Whether you caught it this year or you're already planning for next year, this is what community looks like.
