Bechtel Park Gets a Native Wildflower Welcome This Saturday

This Saturday, September 26, Bechtel Park in Waterloo is hosting a community planting event from 10 a.m. to noon. Volunteers will be planting around 280 native wildflower plugs—a great way to spruce up the park and help local pollinators heading into fall. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just want to lend a hand, there's room for everyone. It's a perfect fall morning activity, and with the forecast showing a nice mix of sun and clouds this weekend, the timing couldn't be better.
